Colourpop's new Disney Villain Collection is now here! I personally love Disney and what's better than a bad ass collection to compliment the Disney Princess Collection!! It was hard for me to decide on which assortment of villain makeup I wanted. I truly wanted them all! Unfortunately, I couldn't afford that "vault status" BUT I can still give you an awesome review on what to expect in the Ursula Set!
To start off, Colourpop always knows how to package their product! The packaging on the villains collection itself is worth buying! For all you makeup addicts, you know what I mean! So here are the deets on the Ursula Set :
*Super Shock Highlighter : "Poor Unfortunate Souls" This highlighter is packaged in a hard cardboard encasing with the villain Ursula art deco on the outside, which I must say is one of the "highlights"of the highlighter! You flip it open, there is no latch so be careful when traveling with this one, but thankfully a mirror! I feel a mirror is so essential in makeup palettes for glam on the go. Continuing, the highlighter color is a sparkly, shimmery lavender. Overall, the highlighter was my least favorite in this bundle. That being said, it's not bad but it's not my go to nor favorite for a highlighter. It's super light and I would recommend using a prep and prime or fixing spray on you brush before application to really show the color and get the results of a highlight that more wows. On it's own I wasn't the biggest fan of the color turnout.
*Lux Lipstick : "Ursula" Ursula is a long wear matte lipstick that I absolutely LOVE! It's a gorgeous wine, violet color with a lot of pigmented POP! The color screams Ursula with its deeply vibrant purple and blood red hues. Oh, but lets talk about the packaging... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Colourpop really pulled through with the lipsticks in this collection! The lipstick is encased in a soft matte black casing with the Villains art sketched in silver. When you open the casing, the lipstick even reads "Villains" on the side! It's a super cute, super creative, or can i say just super lipstick!
*Ultra Glossy Lip: "Sad But True" This ultra glossy lip is exactly what it states ultra glossy. Not only is it super shiny, it smells like a sweet vanilla! The gloss glides on smoothly and isn't sticky! The color "Sad But True" is a opal with light purple hues which compliments the "Ursula" lipstick in the set. What's great about it as well is it can be worn alone or what I like is combining it with a lip plumper. For example Colourpop's So Juicy lip plumper in Princess Cut is a clear ultra glossy lip plumper. When combined with Sad But True its truly gorgeous. It creates a full pout with a light purple hue in the light! The packaging for the gloss is more standard but still includes the great artwork around the tubing of the lipgloss.
You can find the Ursula Set on Colourpop.com for $25.00! Honestly a steal for what you get! It's limited edition so get them while you can!
