There is No Sun Without A Moon, Terra Moons That is

Hello fellow makeup enthusiasts!  It’s me, Dani again, with another review on a newer indie makeup company, Terra Moons Cosmetics (IG Terra_MoonsCosmetics).  I happened to find this brand while perusing through my Instagram feed and their shadows beauty caught my eye.  While checking out their page and then their website, their colors looked absolutely beautiful!!  Their pressed pigments are packed with color and a wide range of colors to choose from.  What I found in particularly eye catching was the duo chrome/shifting colors and the metallic, glitter colors! (can I say GORGEOUSSS!!!).

I ended up purchasing five eye shadows from Terra Moons and was honestly so excited to try these beauties out.  Upon receiving a package from Terra Moons, first off, nothing was broken. Everything was packaged snug which is very important as a makeup artist and to any makeup lover!  It a tragedy when our makeup is broken! Feels like make up suicide. Moving on from the depressing topic of broken makeup. . . the shadows come in a tin pan and packaged in a cute carboard envelope with the companys name in holographic lettering.  As one can tell upon the name of the company and shadow names, it takes on a celestial, outer space look which is gorgeously galactic. When purchasing Terrna Moons I suggest buying a Z-Palette if you plan on buying individually or they offer to make a customizable palette for you as well. 

With the five shadows I purchased, I bought two matte shadows, two shimmer, and one I would categorize and a duo-chrome. I swatched each color below (remember that there is no primer on my arm and only one dip of my finger for each swatch!) :

How out of this world truly is TerraMoons shimmer and duo-chrome colors!! I seriously already can't wait for my next purchase! But, now let me give you the deets on the shadows:

1. First and foremost they are CRUELTY FREE!  I personally love this because, as you can see on my page, I’m an animal lover.  My dog is my little and I can’t imagine any animal having to be a test dummy for our products or animals being used in our products! 

2. Secondly, the colors are highly pigmented!!! Can I get an Amen?!?!?! One of the worst feelings after a makeup purchase is a product that doesn’t perform.  With one swipe of my finger I had beautiful color swatches! No need to repeatedly dip my finger in to get a good swatch, which is awesome! Also, the duo chrome/shifting shadows are simply a MUST HAVE. The shine, the sparkle, the shift, all beautiful!

3. Terra Moons shadows go on smoothly and blend easily.  Another pet peeve as a makeup artist and makeup lover is shadows that become a task to blend.  TerraMoons shadows did not give me any trouble and what's great is they are buildable shadows meaning you can get a light color and more intense color from the same pan.  Also, when you spray your brush with a prep n prime, setting spray, or wet your brush with these shadows you can get a nice bolder color that still glides on smoothly!

4. I honestly can say I have no real cons with these shadows! I experienced no fall out, no trouble applying, and the colors were beautiful! So for my fourth and foremost point is to go try these shadows! You can purchase Terra Moons Cosmetics at Terramoonscosmetics.com
